Feds Say CIT Has No Jurisdiction In Hartford Bond Suit

Law360, New York (October 30, 2009) -- Federal lawyers are arguing that the U.S. Court of International Trade lacks jurisdiction over Hartford Fire Insurance Co.'s suit aiming to recoup more than $270,000 in surety bonds it issued to a China-based importer that was busted for evading anti-dumping duties on crawfish tailmeat.
